Jayadi Paembonan completed his Diploma of Permaculture at Eltham College in Melbourne, Australia and since then he has never looked back. He has been active on both community and private projects within Australia and overseas where he has acted as a permaculture consultant, trainer, designer and permaculture hands on permaculturist. His background as a performing artist in acting and theatre ask comes in handy especially when running workshops with community groups.
He is bursting with energy and is super excited about permaculture as it offers many practical and ethical solutions to core problems facing many communities worldwide in both developed and developing countries alike. The results of his permaculture work speak for themselves. Most notably he has developed a close working relationship with the Anisha Project in Karnataka State in India where he has been working as a permaculture consultant and is currently on his third visit there supported by the international charity Susila Dharma International and their corresponding wings Susila Dharma Australia, USA and Germany.
Within Australia he has been a very active founding member of a community garden at the Clarinda Community Garden and Art Space in the South East of Melbourne, where he has produced a design for the project, worked intensively on-site, ran workshops, consulted with the community and shared information with other garden users.

Frederika Paembonan completed her Permaculture Design Certificate in 2013 and provides design, administration and practical support to the work of Surya Eco Enterprises. She is a qualified social worker and has been working in the not for profit field as a community development worker, coordinator and case worker for several years. She is also a founding member of the Clarinda Community Garden and Art Space and has been active in community development, project development, report and grant writing as well as communication for the various SEE projects.
Kartika Sari (middle) and Suteja Indra (right) bring with them a range of invaluable skills to the SEE team including IT, project management, graphic design, to name a few. And the kids Murianti, Emalia, Wiki, Sulfi and Arya are all the next SEE managers in training!
